I was cleaning up my computer and found this drawing from beginning of 2008. I remember working on this charcoal drawing in the middle of the night instead of getting my painting done for class the next day...

photoshop practice

Wow it's been a while since my last post. I did this little portrait to practice photoshop painting techniques.

Gossip

A drawing I did for the Gossip project for techniques 2 class. I drew it in photoshop. for the amount of time I put into it, I guess I'm happy with it.

some side-by-side comparison

These drawings/paintings were done for illustration techniques 2 class that I just finished up today. First set of images are live paintings of an orange. The one of the left is done in oil paint and the one on the right is done in acrylic. As for the second set of drawings, the drawing on the left is done in pencil and the one of the right is done in watercolor.

Johnny Depp portrait

This is an unfinished painting of Johnny Depp. I haven't worked with oil in a very long time so this was a challenge, but a fun one, so I'm not complaining too much.

Sketchbook

This quarter of school is finally over. I scanned a few pages from my sketchbook from my sketchbook class and compiled a small page of some of the stuff I did this quarter. Hopefully I'll finish filling in that sketchbook soon.
